Our produce is naturally reared, delicious in flavour and tender to the bone.

Traditionally, most lamb enjoyed in this country was actually
Hogget, lamb in its second spring or summer, so aged between one and two years.

While still tender, this extra time on pasture allows our Hogget to develop a depth of flavour that is richer and fuller and a texture, sweetness and versatility making it perfect for roasting or slow cooking, pan-frying or grilling.

Our Mutton will have grazed our grass meadows for over 3 years or more in order to develop it’s rich and gamey bold flavour and juicy, firm but not tough texture, making it ideal for warming winter stews or comforting curries.

As small producers we only offer Hogget & Mutton a few times a year so order now to avoid disappointment!

To keep the meat in peak condition and exceptionally fresh everything is vacuum-packed, ideal if you intend on popping it in your freezer.
